Bottle Tip.

Now that we have switched over to bottles for Jack, it seems like there is always an abundance that need to be washed. I was trying to figure out how to keep the dirty bottles separate and out of the way from the clean ones. It was also getting frustrating to sanitize the sink constantly before I washed his bottles so I knew I had to come up with a solution. Nothing intricate or sophisticated but here is our system.

After we use a bottle, we rinse it out and toss the pieces into the shoebox tote in the left of the picture. They are collected there until we are in need of clean bottles.

Then you put the whole shoebox container into the sink to scrub the bottles. It saves time by giving you a smaller space to fill with water and you also don't have to sanitize it since no food or other items were washed into it.

Definitely not a genius idea but hope I can help a fellow new mom out. It's all these practical tips that save time--a precious thing now a days.

p.s. I highly recommend the drying rack we have (pictured above) It holds tons of stuff but holds them at a tilt so they completely dry out. I had read reviews that many other drying racks don't completely dry stuff. We are able to hold 6 bottles plus all the pieces which is a lot of items. (We use Dr. Brown bottles--also highly recommend)
Here is the link to the drying rack in case you are shopping around for one--
